COLORADO – Leadership of Colorado Biblical University and Fort Collins Bible College jointly announced a merger of the two schools, with Fort Collins Bible College becoming part of Colorado Biblical University. The move is designed to strengthen the overall ministry and effectiveness of the schools, particularly in the Northeast Colorado region. CBU President, Dr. Christopher Cone noted that, “The FCBC team is truly phenomenal – dedicated, skilled, and faithful – working with them is a privilege, and the joining of our two teams will greatly help us better serve the needs of the region and beyond.”

Fort Collins Bible College was launched in 2022 as a ministry arm of Fort Collins Bible Church, emphasizing rich onsite degree program. FCBC has made excellent strides in serving the local community, and developing a rigorous Biblical program – especially in its two-year Associate of Biblical Studies (ABS, 60 Hrs) degree program. FCBC Founding President, Dr. Bradley W. Maston says of the merger, “Our team is thrilled to be joining forces with the CBU.  We believe there is a great future ahead for Christian education in the state of Colorado and CBU is right on the frontier of that effort.”

The FCBC leadership and faculty team will enhance the CBU team, with Dr. Maston serving as the new Executive Vice President of the joint effort.

Colorado Biblical University will incorporate the FCBC Associate of Biblical Studies, offering it alongside the current Associate of Biblical Education (ABE, 60 Hrs). Both will lead to the Bachelor of Biblical Education (BBE, 120 Hrs.) through onsite and/or online education.

Colorado Biblical University will begin transition its primary campus operations to the Fort Collins campus, and is committed to a continuing and strong presence in Fort Morgan and Morgan County. The CBU campus in Fort Morgan will be renamed the Colorado Biblical University and Academy Resource Center, and will continue to house the CBU Academy and the Earl Radmacher Library, and will continue to host classes, conferences, and workshops at the K-12, collegiate , and continuing education levels.

The merger between Colorado Biblical University and Fort Collins Bible College continues a rich history of likeminded Christian organizations working together for more effective outreach to the community.
